What does CDX mean?

CDX refers to the plywood grade where one face is better finished (C grade), the other is rough (D grade), and it is bonded with exterior-grade adhesive (X).

Is it waterproof?

It is moisture-resistant but not fully waterproof, so it should not be left exposed long-term in wet conditions.

Can it be reused?

Yes — depending on use, shuttering ply can often be reused several times for formwork.

Is it suitable for flooring?

It can be used as a temporary or sub-layer, but is not intended as a finished flooring surface.
