Everbuild 201 Mortar Admix 25L

Everbuild 201 Mortar Admix is an air-entraining, liquid plasticising admixture designed specifically for mortar applications. Supplied in a robust 25-litre jerry can, this high-performance additive introduces micro-bubbles into mortar mixes, enhancing workability, improving consistency, and boosting durability — particularly under freeze/thaw conditions.

• Improved Workability
  The admixture forms very stable, uniform air bubbles within the mortar mix, giving it a “buttery” texture that makes the mortar easier to trowel, align, and compact. 

• Freeze/Thaw Resistance
  Mortars treated with Everbuild 201 exhibit enhanced resistance to freeze/thaw cycling. This resilience extends to both wet and dry mortar, protecting work even down to around –2 °C. 

• Reduces the Need for Lime
  This additive can replace lime in traditional mortar mixes, helping to avoid issues such as lime bloom and efflorescence in the finished masonry.

• Chloride-Free
  With a chloride ion content of less than 0.1%, the product is safe for use in mortars where embedded metal reinforcement may be a concern. 

• Reduced Bleeding & Segregation
  By improving internal cohesion and entraining stable air, Everbuild 201 helps to reduce bleeding (water separation) and reduces the risk of mortar segregation or shrinkage cracks as it cures. 

• Superior to Traditional Plasticisers
  According to manufacturer data, it outperforms traditional Vinsol resin-based plasticisers in both performance and durability.
